Went visiting the National Gallery of Modern Art today - I wasn't there for 4 years at least: when you live in Rome you end up by not doing anything but work - and it was the last day of this interesting exhibition: http://lagallerianazionale.com/mostra/conversation-piece/
I took one shot of the flagship artwork by Juan Muñoz, very personal and up close.
sooc etc. etc.
@helenhall Thank you for noticing (and for the fav, of course!) @helenm2016 the sculpture would deserve more than one shot. There was a conversation going on, different depending upon the side you would look.Thank you! @vignouse Thank you, Richard. All credits to Mr. Muñoz, of course, but it was interesting to photograph!
@psychographer thank you, Lisa? This sculpture showed different attitudes from different angles, this wa the one I preferred. @overalvandaan yes, as said above: a very nice piece of art. Thank you.
What strange pieces these are - the eyes are unusual and the link shows the statues have no legs. I like this image though, it could be called The Whisper.
@365street They are curious indeed, I think they are made from burlap sacks. And if you look at them from other sides they look quite different: confrontational, disinterested... a good piece
