31 Roman art - Birdwatching at Villa Farnesina

«Domenico! Would you be silent for a second? You could make him fly away after 2000 years»

I fear I overwhelmed Junko with chatter...
Roman art - Frescoes reconstructed in Palazzo Massimo - by kind permission of special guest @jyokota
lovely edit , did she really say that? haha

@kali66 noooo!!! I’m sure she wouldn’t even if she thought. And I hope she didn’t think 😊

@kali66 -- I would never think or say such a thing because I treasured every minute together, and I didn't get to hear enough from Domenico when I had to leave. Now I am in the silence of my own house alone. Oh, how I long for some interesting chattering!

Domenico, it's interesting how adding a live person makes the scene feel three-dimensional. Next time, I must ask you for a lesson on the processing part.

@jyokota As you know, I talk easily... of photography, all the more, even too much! I think the three dimensionality in these came out particularly apparent, maybe it was a trompe-l'oeil virtue of the original painting. Thank you, for accepting for being a part of the game!

@kali66 -- thank you -- I am so appreciative of our 365 community's support. Photowalking with the delightful @caterina and @dominicododaro were definitely steps toward returning to photography.

So wonderful to observe 365 community in action like this. So glad you had a great meet up, and what a great little project you concocted.

Art is a living breathing and evolving entity. Making new art with classics is a necessary step in that process, in humble opinion.

@joysabin I do so agree, apart that calling "art" my little projects is perhaps a little of an overstatement! Thank you so much!

@hrs This is a big compliment, thank you! I like to tell stories and maybe that's where I would like to go with my photography.
April 3rd, 2018
Wonderful! Fav... but unless you have found a way to do this without the software manipulation I won't be asking for lessons! :-)
April 3rd, 2018
@yrhenwr Thank you a lot... plenty of software manipulation, I have to admit!
