@allie912 Thank you. Having captured it with a slow rangeifinder camera and a 90 mm lens, I am rather happy of the results, even without awards... I particularly like how the line of birds mimic the line of the rock where the lighthouse is built @seattlite Thank you, Gloria, I appreciate very much your judgment! @deborah63 Thank you, Debbie!
I love all the different tones layering through the sky and you couldn't have wished for a better placement of those birds. With the light as it is, and all the things others have mentioned, you have a stunning capture.
@caterina Thank you, Caterina! @helenhall Thank you, Helen! Yes, flock of birds were zooming all the time, and always to fast for me to capture them with the manual focusing lens and my slow Leica...
Absolutely wonderful. The layered colours are great and I love the lighting on the lighthouse and the nearby cliff-face. The curved line of birds gives an extra dimension to the layering. Love it.
@golftragic Thank you so much! @joysabin Thanks again. I look forward to another roll... In this regard: if you have 120 film you should have a 6x6 or 6x4,5 camera, too. Do you?
@domenicododaro I have my Dad's Rolleiflex. 2&1/4. I need to give it a good cleaning. Also I need to practice loading the film on the reel- a bit trickier than 35mm.
Fabulous image. I think you know why I love this place. It looks like the tide was low and you got to walk out on the sand spit that separates the river from the Atlantic.
