Pappa al pomodoro by domenicododaro

Pappa al pomodoro

And the good thing was, we were under medical control (hahaha): doses, ingredients etc., all previously approved by the friend nutritionist! I admit - however - that when I proposed to shoot cherry tomatoes in a martini cocktail glass, the called me crazy... but isn't it all about it?
And for those who may wish, there's a FB page where these photos are published with their recipe - for free! In Italian, of course πŸ˜•

Am captivated by this. Baby Toms on a glass...extra!

You eat your food out of a jar? You've shattered my lifelong faith in the culinary finesse of Italians! Tomatoes in a cocktail glass just won't restore it!

@caterina thank you, Caterina!
@s4sayer thank you, Margo, much appreciated!
@yrhenwr hahaha it was just served in the jar... new trends in classy cocktail bars and stylish restaurants: to serve food anywhere but in dishes...

Lovely still life!

Looks delicious even though I'm not a fan of eating or drinking from jars. I know it's the 'thing', but not for me. I can't speak/read Italian, what's in the jar?

English please.

@leonbuys83 thank you so much!
@deborah63 πŸ˜‹
@kali66 it’s really good. You should try with your tomatoes!
@seattlite thank you very much, Gloria!
@kwind thank you, Kim!
@golftragic it’s a mush made with white bread and peeled tomatoes, a very traditional Tuscan recipe.
@yaorenliu oh I’d like. I am pushing with the publisher: maybe I should ask for a mass email to convince him! Thanks!!

@domenicododaro Thanks Domenico, what a shame all the recipes are in Italian only, I love your country's food.
July 23rd, 2018
@golftragic I think I’ll translate some of them for the FB page, hopefully if the publisher will see some international interest there will be an English edition...

@psychographer Will do... Need to fill a few gaps! ;) Thank you!
@helenhall Thank you Helen! I finished disputing with the publisher's graphic yesterday... they are doing a mess with the photos!

@domenicododaro I am sorry to hear that. How disrespectful!
July 25th, 2018
@helenhall Indeed... but it's also my fault, you know, inexperience...
July 26th, 2018
This looks delicious!
July 28th, 2018
@gardenfolk It is a very traditional recipe and all families have their own secret formula... and in fact, on the FB page of the book it's being criticized on all accounts!!!
