And the good thing was, we were under medical control (hahaha): doses, ingredients etc., all previously approved by the friend nutritionist! I admit - however - that when I proposed to shoot cherry tomatoes in a martini cocktail glass, the called me crazy... but isn't it all about it?
And for those who may wish, there's a FB page where these photos are published with their recipe - for free! In Italian, of course π https://www.facebook.com/Almanacco-Alimentare-2019-276617566238982/?view_public_for=276617566238982
You eat your food out of a jar? You've shattered my lifelong faith in the culinary finesse of Italians! Tomatoes in a cocktail glass just won't restore it!
@caterina thank you, Caterina! @s4sayer thank you, Margo, much appreciated! @yrhenwr hahaha it was just served in the jar... new trends in classy cocktail bars and stylish restaurants: to serve food anywhere but in dishes...
Looks delicious even though I'm not a fan of eating or drinking from jars. I know it's the 'thing', but not for me. I can't speak/read Italian, what's in the jar?
@leonbuys83 thank you so much! @deborah63 π @kali66 itβs really good. You should try with your tomatoes! @seattlite thank you very much, Gloria! @kwind thank you, Kim! @golftragic itβs a mush made with white bread and peeled tomatoes, a very traditional Tuscan recipe. @yaorenliu oh Iβd like. I am pushing with the publisher: maybe I should ask for a mass email to convince him! Thanks!!
@golftragic I think Iβll translate some of them for the FB page, hopefully if the publisher will see some international interest there will be an English edition...
@psychographer Will do... Need to fill a few gaps! ;) Thank you! @helenhall Thank you Helen! I finished disputing with the publisher's graphic yesterday... they are doing a mess with the photos! @joemuli hehehe @taffy Thank you, Taffy!
@gardenfolk It is a very traditional recipe and all families have their own secret formula... and in fact, on the FB page of the book it's being criticized on all accounts!!!
