Now why can one want to post this... It's apparently out of focus. AND the negative is badly scratched. But can't help loving it, can't say why.
Last post of the TMax roll from 2009, developed ten days ago.
@365projectltaylor and the years... thank you! @adi314 cold yes, this is certain because it was shot in November. Thank you so much, Adi! @kgolab thank you very much! @yrhenwr thanks a lot, indeed! @yaorenliu an old silent movie, yes. Thank you! @helenhall thanks a lot, This shot urges me back to look again, can’t explain why. @kali66 the magic of photography. Thank you, friend. @vignouse thank you Richard! I do agree, it’s the iuxtaposition if the battered hut and the boat. Like Robinson trying to leave his island.
I agree with @vignouse the strong composition keeps the viewer engaged, I also think the very fact it is slightly missed focus keeps engagement as well...like the "silent movie". There's a perceived drama in the image that makes us check it over and over to see if we missed anything. Pulls me back to the "greats" where photos weren't razor sharp but still have always stood the test of time.
