Adventure #1

It takes time to understand exploring is not about landing in shores unknown, rather teaching one’s eyes to discover the unexpected hidden in everyday’s plain sight.

The next fortnight will be about abstracts, accompanied by the beastly Nikon Nikkor 80-200mm f:2,8 at 200mm. Nothing to say about its qualities, it was my very first “serious” lens, and I've had it for about 18 years... but hey, it weighs a ton!
The beauty of photography, we get to see the world in a different light

Oh, good - what is its! Looking forward to that. I agree on the two ton Nikkor zoom. Great results, but it sure is heavy. Are you using an adapter for the R7 body? I have done that, but the autofocus doesn't work.

@shylaine3304 isn’t it all about that?
@stray_shooter a round window on the stairs of the building where I live, taken from below, inside. Yes, I use an adapter and focus manually (but I focus manually all the time!) Thanks!
@golftragic Thank you! Hope not to disappoint you!

@domenicododaro I have every confidence in you.

Fascinating capture. It reminds me of the polyvalente phrase ‘through a glass, dimly'. Mmm, like it.

@s4sayer Thank you!

Lovely, just enough of the curves to allude to the structure but still be a fabulous abstract. Fav!

I cant believe I have missed a fortnight of your posts - but so it seems. I shall run through these in succession and enjoy the feel of the abstract. And this is a fine one to start with - minimalist, abstract with much pleasure to be taken from the curves and contrasts .

@joysabin thank you very much!
@helenhall it happens, nothing too bad... but thank you so much! How are you doing with phase 2?
