At the end of the climb of Mount Paterno (see the last two day’s shots) the view on the Drei Zinnen is simply stunning. It was a very rewarding climb, repeated after ten years of making it for the first time with my daughter (she was 12 y.o. then and she was the one to ask for it). I am a lucky guy.
Fantastic b&w photo and great ending to your climb...I recall my dad telling me of the beauty of the Apennine Mountains and Alps Mountains in Italy which he traversed as a skier in the 10th Mountain Division during WWII.
@ludwigsdiana Oh my, too kind of you! I love the mountains, that’s all. @seattlite I would love to listen to his stories. The environment must have been much more wild and authentic then. And the experiences he must have made! @bkbinthecity Thank you very much! @joysabin Thanks a lot! @louannwarren Totally agreed! That was the magic. Thank you. @blueberry1222 It was, absolutely fabulous. @ginnys Thank you so much!
