Special treat for the birds this afternoon - fat balls and meal worms. It caused quite an argument! Later on, a magpie landed on the tray and took off one of the fat balls in his beak, greedy thing!
Great action shot Dawn. At least the magpie only took a fat ball. Unfortunately, a magpie killed a baby blackbird in our garden and I think has probably frightened his little brother to death as I haven't seen him. Poor parents were beside themselves. Glad these starlings haven't had the same problem
