"Flor de maio" (= May Flower)

Schlumbergera (Flor de Maio) is a genus of tree-dwelling cactus from Brazil introduced to Europe by the Kew collector, Allan Cunningham, in about 1816. Also known as Thanksgiving Cactus or as Christmas Cactus, which may flower in white, pink, red or purple.
Blooming Period: May (but in my house it was only now, in July)

This is a nice shot Dora... So, what do you reckon for Sunday? SHould be a good game, I think I will cheer for Holland, but in truth, as long as it's a good game, I don't really mind who wins...

I love "Christmas cactuses", thanks for the info, I never realised they were from Brazil, no wonder they're so beautiful! Wow Spain are through to the final with Holland, I don't know who to support now! My elder son, B has easily won our family world cup challenge, as he picked both finalists! He's won the world cup ball!
