Two years ago our brother Jordan was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, it was hard to hear that our 9 year old brother has rough years ahead of him, and a limited time to live. I personally thought of things that I expected to see him do, watch him grow into a young man and realize how much we take everything in life for granted. There is still so much that I wish for him to experience. And that's why we're doing this walk, because we love him, and we know that other people have love ones to; that have things like muscular related disorders that may shorten how many years you may have to live and we want to prolong their life, as much as our brother's for as long as we can.
This is the first year that our family is participating in the 'Walk for Muscular Dystrophy' as much as we're doing it to raise awareness about neuromuscular disorders we are doing it to possibly help others like our brother Jordan in hopes that may be one day there will be a way to prolong the affects of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy down the road. So go go, Jordan Rangers, time to get walking, and defeat any obstacles that stand in your way.
