Surfs Up at Grand Haven

This is the Grand Haven Lighthouse on Lake Michigan, one of our beautiful Great Lakes. When the winds whip up, the surfers come out. This guy was out there by himself, and the mom in me thinks the buddy system would be a smarter way to go.

Yes, that is probably true. But he probably couldn't find anyone who wanted to be as silly as him.
But it does look fun, and I've rarely ( I nearly put never), stopped doing something a bit risky purely because I was on my own.
