Day 239 of 365: Beneath the Waterfall

2015 August 27: As I approached the waterfall at the Duck Pond early this evening, I was thrilled to see a Green Heron swiftly fly out of the nearby bushes and land on the rocks beneath the falls. He seemed to ignore me as he calmly posed for his photo shoot, and I obliged him by snapping photos as quickly as my camera could handle!

The green herons are more colourful than the grey ones or white ones (of course)! A big bird too! Good catch
