2015 December 27: Today was very warm for a December day (73 degrees F!), and the floodwaters from the recent heavy rains had finally receded ...so we ventured outdoors and walked the trail around Adtran Pond for a couple of hours this afternoon. While we were walking, this wonderful Great Blue Heron posed for us in several spots along the trail.
How exciting! I'm glad the floodwaters have receded and that you were able to get out and about. What a treat to have a heron join you! I love how you captured him tucked alongside the tree.
