2016.01.18 Monday: We experienced a bitterly cold day today, with a wind chill of 26 degrees F. (I understand that this is around -3.33 C, if that is correct!)
Despite the cold, my husband and I managed to get out to go to the Feed-and-Seed store in order to buy more bird seed for my pampered-and-beloved backyard wild birds. It is always a treat for me to get to shop in this store, as they have a nice variety of quite interesting merchandise -- and a wonderful selection of different types of bird seed!
When we were leaving, I got out my new smartphone (I was satisfied with my ancient flip-phone, but my husband gave this new one to me as a New Year's present) and tried out its camera. I have seen some wonderful camera phone pics, and am hoping that I will learn to take good ones with mine!
The original pic was rather dark, so I found it a necessity to manipulate the Highlights and Shadows in Photoshop, and to make a few adjustments to bring out the details. Anyway, this is one of my very first attempts to use my camera phone; I am glad that it is of one of my fav stores!
I love the color here - this store makes a neat shot - should tag if for the January-town2016 - would look nice there. Congratulations on your new camera (phone).
