2016.05.02 Monday: This afternoon I paused for a minute to admire the view from my window ...and was thrilled when this Red-bellied Woodpecker landed a few feet away from me!
Even better: He perched for a minute or so glancing around our yard, and then flew away without pecking our wooden deck.
