2016.08.13 Saturday: Slight rain showers fell on-and-off throughout our afternoon; slightly before sunset I noticed that the storms had created an odd, dim cast to the sky. I went outdoors to find that sprinkles of rain were still falling despite there only being thin clouds above us.
Looking toward the east, however, I saw an awesome sight: a large brilliant double rainbow gracefully arcing across the sky! My son and I both pulled out our cameras and began snapping away, attempting to capture the beauty of this gorgeous sight.
