2017.01.15 Sunday: The area in which I live is located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain ...Although our highest elevation is only slightly more than 1600 feet (500 meters) above sea level, it still provides a beautiful sight!
Today was a warm, comfortable day for walking, so we traveled across town to Hayes Nature Preserve to hike and enjoy the view. I enjoyed seeing all of the shades of blue in the distant mountains while we were there!
Beautiful clouds and mountain scenery! I would love to get back up to the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Appalachians are spectacular for scenery and so much to see and do.
