On the Way Home

2017.12.09 Saturday: Today we traveled back to the Shoals area ...Several years ago we began the tradition of going there to take Scott's dad out for a Christmas-season lunch. We try to do so on the same weekend that Park Blvd (the neighborhood that I grew up in) puts out their parade of candles.

We enjoyed a delicious buffet at Golden Corral before touring downtown Sheffield (Alabama) and driving through Park Blvd to see the beautiful luminaries.

The sun was setting during our journey home, so I took a pic of it in our side-view mirror as Scott drove home.

That's a nice way to capture the sunset. Glad to hear you weren't the one driving. I always get in trouble with my family if I take a picture while driving. Oh well.
