Week 1: Vision, Looking Ahead by dsp2

Week 1: Vision, Looking Ahead

2018.01.03 Wednesday: This is my first attempt at participating in the 52-Week challenge. The prompt for this week is Vision: Look ahead; New year; New beginnings; New you.

For this first prompt I chose to take a pic of the new journal that I have started for 2018.

Each January I begin a new disc-bound notebook. Through the days and months of the coming year, I will place in it my Gratitude Journal, Daily Scripture writing, artwork, etc. I base this on the saying, "Each day of your life is a new page; each month a new chapter."

I pray that each of us will enjoy beauty and laughter through each new day of 2018!
What a lovely idea. I love journals and this one looks lovely. :)

A great idea. I too keep a journal. It’s not a diary, I just write good things that have happened during the day. However bad a day is there’s always something good to write about.

Good luck with the challenge! This is a great shot for the first prompt. Your notebook is beautiful...I can imagine the pleasure you get using it. Thanks for sharing, Dinah!

Great shot for the prompt, and it sounds like you have a great way to journal too. I love the quote

This is so wonderful, Dinah! I've always kept journals. I like the idea of a gratitude journal. Terrific photo for your 52-Week Challenge! :-)

I would like to do something similar, a nice way to reflect back in your year

That's awesome. I started journaling a few months ago. I'm terrible at keeping up with it but going to start back here soon :)
