2018.06.04 Monday: Matthew and I went back to the Botanical Gardens this morning, and proudly checked in with our new annual passes. We were surprised that a good many people were there ...large groups of children on field trips, families with small children in strollers, and older adults walking about enjoying the gorgeous views.
Matthew and I had a wonderful time walking here-and-there and admiring the flowers -- and just sitting on a bench to drink in the view and "people watch" as families and schoolchildren passed by.
There were a good many coneflowers in bloom; I especially enjoyed seeing the vibrant color of these red ones.
