Lester and I went to Rickmansworth today to take a walk by the canal there but we happened upon Rickmansworth Aquadrome and walked round one of its three lakes. They're re-claimed gravel pits. Some of the gravel was used in the construction of the Wembley Arena. The area is now a nature reserve and the lakes are used for sailing and water skiing.
