Blackbird, blue sky, a few green leaves, and some branches

I walked into town this morning to have a little play with some of those creative mode settings, inconclusively - I'll have to try a different strategy. Never mind.
After that I spent a bit of time communing with the wildlife (in auto settings) on and around the canal. I chose this shot for today because I thought it was bright and cheery.

Great to see some greenery and signs of Spring. A couple of days of snow and I've already forgotten what that feels like :-) I think he may have found an ant or two on that branch.
