Here's Gloria getting ready to have her photo taken; first a shower, then she enjoys a luxurious moisturising session, and finally she poses.
In the film, Sunset Boulevard, Miss Gloria Swanson said: "All right, Mr de Mille, I'm ready for my close up" but if I'd put that on the final shot, you wouldn't be able to see Miss Duckson for text!
I spent an hour or so taking shots of ducks by the local stretch of canal today, trying out fast ISO and shutter speed settings. Miss Duckson's shots were the most successful ones.
