Probably best seen on large view.
Many thanks for all the lovely comments, faves and follows for my Woody wood pigeon shot.
Lester and I have been away for a few days to Hastings, in Sussex, on the south coast.
I don't think this building is really anything to do with Dodie Smith's novel, I Capture the Castle, other than it's the ruins of a medieval castle in the grounds of Scotney Castle and Dodie Smith's hall was ScoAtney, with a moated, medieval castle in its grounds. But it reminds me so much of the book. It even has a moat - just visible, bottom right of the shot.
Lester and I went for lunch, a walk round the gardens and a tour of the hall as a break in our journey to Hastings.

I'm an abstract photography enthusiast but not exclusively so.

Lovely shot and nice perspective. Again, I have often driven through Scotney on the way to the south coast from London but did not even know there was a castle there. Nice one.
