Eastbourne pier

We went to Eastbourne on Monday evening which is where this shot was taken.
Things had started to go a bit wrong because neither of us had had a decent night's sleep on Sunday. The bed in the Travelodge wasn't at all comfortable which came as a surprise because we usually find their beds are very good.
By Tuesday morning we felt we'd had enough and went home a day early. We also cancelled a day's outing with some college chums of mine from way back when - a very great shame indeed.
Anyway, I'm using other shots from our break until today (Friday) as the weather has been bad and my neck and back weren't too good either.
