Living on the edge

Poppies in October?! I spotted these small, tatty but determined specimens by the side of the road while I was out and about today.

Many thanks to everyone both here on 365 and on fb who looks at/comments on my photos. I'm always very grateful to you for your time and kindness.
We still have a few hardy ones too, even had morning frosts and they have survived.

I'd say our climate is terribly confused. I saw an azalea bush blooming today. This shot made a pretty little burst of color. Good find.
