On the window ledge of the smallest room in the Bailey home sit two seashells* and a little, ornamental model of a sailing dinghy. One of the sails is improbably depicted as a fishing net with these tiny shells and starfish caught up in it. When the sun shines through the window in the afternoon, it lights it up rather prettily, I think.
