I couldn't let the snow go without getting some shots of dear old Pitstone Windmill, so Lester very obligingly took us on a bit ! of a detour on the way (in completely the opposite direction) to the supermarket today.
This lady said she'd been trying to keep out of my way but said she was happy about being in my photo when I asked her if she minded and explained how good she looked in the scene.

Edit.If you have a moment or two to kill and fancy a look-see, my other Pitstone windmill shots can be accessed via "ab pitstone windmill" in the tags for this one.

The red is great. She looks like she is all snug against the wealth. It's a good contrast against the snow. Lovely composition of the windmill and scene.
Interesting snow scene! There's nothing like a spash of colour in a snowy scene. I'm often finding people try to 'get out of my way' when in fact they add to the picture!
Incredibly lovely, Alison. Love the use of white space with the snow and the pop of red AND of course, the awesome windmill (something we never see around here). Definite fav!
How perfect! She could do a roaring trade here on 365 with a coat like that.... This would be a beautiful photo in its own right, but she definitely is the icing on the cake, fav......
