Lester has been away at a Morris musicians' instructional this weekend.
The sun came out at last today so I took myself off for a drive and ended up at Little Britain Lake, near Uxbridge ( part of one of the Outer London Boroughs).
The lake is a reclaimed gravel pit and is home to swans, ducks, geese and a heron or two.

Those willows are beautifully captured - I love you you showed the dark lines of the trees against the lighter tans - such a wonderfully peaceful scene. Must be a marvelous place to wander.
For all the grace of the weeping willow branches, the tree bodies are surprisingly solid and determined-looking, something we can't see when in leaf. So with the swans - grace and power.
