Another one of those large view efforts, if you have a moment. Thank you. :-) Not as much tonal variation as I would have liked but there wasn't a lot to be done about it. The way the snow was clinging to the public footpath through the field intrigued me, though.
Happy Easter, folks! xx

The way you shot this makes for a really interesting composition - that line of white draws your eye all the way through - odd how it stayed on that path. Like the variations in the brown running perpendicular to the path. Interesting. If this is Easter though, let's get spring here soon.
Oh dear - yes, we haven't quite got rid of the last lot of ice yet on the hills either. I do hope it goes before June, it would be good to feel there was something of the summer.
Interesting the way the path has remained snow capped. Maybe it's because the ground underneath there is more compacted so denser, and harder to warm up. Just a guess. I reminds me a little of the aeroplane white lines, except this is very much earthbound. :)
@sabresun Good point re. the path. It may also be that the snow has been compacted by walkers which would slow the melting process down too. There's a lot of very popular walking country hereabouts and a lot of enthusiastic and hardy walkers.
