This was taken at Weston-Super-Mare ; I think it works better on large view if you have a moment.
Many thanks for all your kind good wishes - Lester and I had a wonderful week in a cottage a few miles away from Taunton, near the Somerset/Devon border. We know the area quite well; Lester lived for some years on the other side of Somerset, with his parents and siblings but we haven't been there for a long while.

It sounds like you both had a wonderful time. This certainly is a beautifully caught scene of the pier with fabulous symmetry and pov. Looks great in b & w. Thank you so much, Alison for all your nice comments on my photos recently!
@kazlamont@eyesmile Thank you, ladies. I found this this link to the pier's own website : http://www.grandpier.co.uk/
Btw, Weston-Super-Mare is affectionately known as Weston-Super-Mud, probably because the tide goes out such a long way. :)
Weston-Super-Mare.... that holds some nostalgic memories for me! We used to stop off there every year on the way down to Cornwall.... really like how you have processed this Carol and your pov. Glad you had an enjoyable week.
We have friends just moving from Kingston Seymour (ins't that a wonderful name) to Devon so jealous :0)
