A must for on black. Lovely shapes, shells come to mind. Lots of textures and bright edges along the rims. Interesting repeating pattern which looks slightly smoother as it becomes smaller. Think there is a theme for edges this week?
i like how it fans out from the right hand corner alison.
I think it might be a bit of decorative wood or plaster (plaster i think) as I can see bits of dry paint in the grooves.
It works well as a macro and abstract, especially in mono
Love it on black - fascinating patterns that look like they might continue - I can visualize a smaller center and then larger ones continuing. Love your b&w abstracts.
I don't quite know why, but this reminds me of an ice cream cornet. It may be the crinkles. I see it as more biscuit than shell. I may have been distracted by the good sunny weather we're having today. Lovely fan-like patterns, and very neat in b/w.
