Pub sign lantern?

Taken at the Old New Inn, Bourton-on-the-Water. Judging by the piercings in the metalwork and the wires, this probably lights up at night. It's very unusual. I really like it.

Yes, very unusal, as is the pub's name! Did you find out how it got that name?

@bigsusan55 There's nothing about that on the website but my guess would be it was named the New Inn in 1712 and maybe became the Old New Inn in 1938. Perhaps the then owners decided it wasn't new any more. :-D
