It isn't my intention to unsettle anyone with this photograph - I'm not too happy around spiders myself. I found this poor thing dead on the kitchen counter this morning. After shuddering, I calmed down and took a closer look and decided it was really rather beautiful. With the aid of a dulcimer hammer (!) I put it on an envelope, transferred it to the windowsill and took some shots.
Sciences and technology are indisputably involved in this shot, but does art come into it as well? It's a matter of personal preference, so I'll leave that one to you. :-)
Critique welcome. Veteran 365er, 2011 vintage. Only posting occasionally and irregularly now.
I'm an abstract photography enthusiast but not exclusively so.

I don't have much of an eye for art, but it was a moment during your day that you stopped to notice. A point when you were NOT so caught up in racing from moment to moment that you didn't notice your surroundings. For me that is what this project seems to be teaching me - stop - look - listen - what are you missing? Sorry got up on my small soapbox there. Great photo.
