It was raining pretty hard today. I really want to figure out how to photograph rain. I probably need more of it and a better camera. I had to settle for raindrops on branches.
@httpgeffed Thank you Colleen. Love your album @michelerozek@veg66 or anyone else who may come across this. I've been googling dslr but don't know a lot about cameras and would be happy to take some recomendations. (probably use it on auto a lot...at least at the beginning)
@edie The best thing I did was MAKE myself read parts of the manual and try a little at a time, I mostly shoot on manual and I LOVE it! There are some awesome books out there and sites. Start small, and find what you love!
@edie My hubby worked in law enforcement for 23 years and he bought his detectives a Canon, so about 3 years ago he bought me a Canon rebel XS with several lens. I love it, but I see Nikon has many similiar qualities. There are some interesting threads on this site that may help you, go to discussions and look around. I loved my old 35mm but digital is out of this world for photos, processing.....you will LOVE the switch! Good luck!
Beautiful capture, love the raindrops. I was shooting auto on mine until I started 365. Love the manual mode, there's lots to learn but I am having fun. There is so much you can do with digital
