I love the quality of this shot. It looks like one of those pics you find in the family album and raises a bunch of questions about Uncle so and so and what a wild guy he used to be.
Nice colors ... your comment reminds me of a John Lennon song "'Im just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round, I really love to watch them roll"
@cromwell There were no birds! @northy You can see the highway from my back deck but this is with a pretty big zoom lens...I wondered if anyone would look at it and feel that way. @amandal I don't think I would have had time...my cameraflexes aren't that fast. @pdulis Ttat is stuck in my head now. At least it's a good one. @riverlandphotos I actually do have that uncle...but this isn't him.
I always thought you lived out in the back end of nowhere. Now I see a street scene from your back deck. I is confused! Great shot though. @riverlandphotos described so well the feelings it brings up. Although I actually bought my favourite uncle's old motorcycle, so I may be a bit influenced in that way.
@cromwell Everybody who's ever ridden, that's who! Some of us struggle(d) through Winters on bikes, but Spring is heaven for those who park their bikes up for the Winter and those who fight through it. And for those, like me, who gave up their bike some years ago, it brings that longing to the fore to buy another bike. Every. Damn. Year.
