When I was a teenager I loved music. I had a 4-track studio setup in my bedroom and various guitars, basses and electronic equipment. I could spend hours (and often did) driving my parents crazy whilst I figured out the chords or bassline to a song.
Then I grew up ...
Now, at the age of 37 I know I'll never get to say "Good evening Wembley" to a packed Wembley Stadium (I did say it at Wembley Conference Centre, but that doesn't count) and I'll never get that Status 'Black Beauty' Kingbass.
