Read on the 'net today that Bon Jovi were to play a 4 song set on the top of the O2 (And for our colonial cousins and other non-UK based people - http://www.bisping.tv/files/images/mildome.jpg) at 3:30pm. As I finished work at 3 and the O2 is only a couple of stops away on the Tube I thought I'd go and have a look.
Got to the O2 at 3:30 to find a few hundred people waiting in front of a screen for the show to begin - apparently a trained team of mountaineers had to get the band and crew onto the roof so everyone else stood out the front of the area ... including the guy in the fetching home-made tribute top who was mostly stood by himself. Might have been the top ...
Have to admit I can only name 2 Bon Jovi songs as I'm anything but a fan; though if 'Slippery When Wet' is only an album title, then I only know one ...
Tommy Steel?? How did we get to him from Bon Jovi!! I missed this Ed..it seems quite the thing now to do impromptu 'concerts' from the top of places. Never be quite the same as Let It Be...but there you go!! Hope you enjoyed.
