Today, my husband ran a 5K after work, so I took our son down to the park to support him, my two sisters and almost brother-in-law. My son was so great and sat in his stroller drinking juice, eating goldfish crackers and cheering on the participants, and I was so proud of my husband because he really pushed himself and ran a great time. This photo is of the state capitol near the park.
I love the clarity of the subject and framing with the trees. Not too keen on the processing of the sky as I think it's gone too far (personal preference;-) ). Did you use the burn tool? You might get a more uniform effect by creating a darker exposure adjustment layer then masking/rubbing out the building/ foreground to give the original exposure beneath. Difficult to do with trees and leaves though... Or a HDR merge which is beyond me!
@billiusbog Thank you for the feedback Bill. I see what you are saying about the sky and making multiple layers. Definitely something to consider next time as the sky is a little bright. I did process this as an HDR merge.
