We finished our kitchen renovation a little less than a year ago, and since that time, I have been trying to replace the wires hanging from the ceiling with light fixtures. They were there for so long that one morning while feeding my son breakfast I ran out of objects to name that I taught him the word ‘wires’. From that point on, he was able to successfully point out to our guests that wires were where light fixtures should be (like they had not already noticed!). I had the hardest time finding something that I liked. Then, when I finally did, they had to order it, and we had to wait a month. When we got them, one was broken, so we had to wait another month. Last night, my husband moved the junction box, and tonight, he hung the first light fixture!
Wow - really beautiful too! I like the light fixture a lot! Good choice and worth the wait. You must have felt very happy when you switched on the light the first time!
P.S.: I never really noticed the wires until M pointed them out to me.
