Today, my husband, my son, my grandmother and I flew back from Hilton Head. We only had a 40 minute layover in Washington, DC, so we had to make a run for it. You will have to form a mental picture on this one because I didn’t have time for photography… my husband carrying the diaper bag, my camera bag and my grandmother’s bag; my active and fit grandmother in her 80’s (so going to be in trouble when she reads that I told everyone her age…love you Ma!) and me who is six months pregnant carrying a 30 pound toddler were all running up escalators and through terminals to try to make our flight on time. We did get paged once, but we made the flight! Our luggage didn’t, but that is another story. My son was fantastic on both flights, and I could not have been more proud of how well he travelled. This shot is taken of the Intercoastal Waterway as we were flying out of Savannah, GA.
My husband, son and I just got back from 10 wonderful days on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina, so I am playing catch up on editing and uploading my photos from the trip.
We had to do the mad dash through the airport a couple of times...not really fun but very challenging and satisfying if it all works out. Great shot from the plane. :-)
