Wedding weekend began with the ladies getting pampered even the little ones. My niece M. is a girly girl, so when she had the opportunity to sit with my sister during her pedicure she was so excited. During the entire treatment, she kept calling to me “Aunties, look at me!”. After the pampering, it was time for lunch followed by some last minute craft making. Then, my sister J., my six year old niece G. and I headed out to the chapel for rehearsal. On the way there, we were listening to the navigation tell us when to turn. By the end of the trip, my niece said to my sister and I “wow, that GPS is really bossy!”. Then, we got into the rehearsal and the Justice of the Peace gave us instructions, had people practice multiple times and generally accepted nothing less than perfect. Toward the end of the rehearsal, my niece turned to me and my sister and said “this lady is bossier than the GPS”, so for the rest of the weekend, the JP was renamed to GPS. The rehearsal was followed by a wonderful four course Italian meal and even better company. [SOOC]
