My mother-in-law was at our house today watching our son, and she texted me to let me know that our power was out…again. I could not believe it. Apparently, a substation blew and almost 20% of the town was without power. Fortunately, this time it only lasted a little over three hours. This is a photo of a pull chain on one of our lamps. I don’t think that I am going to take electricity for granted any more!
