Since the weather has been mostly cold and overcast, we have been stuck in the house. To avoid going stir crazy, we bundled up the boys to take a walk around the neighborhood. It was so nice to spend some time in the fresh air. My son M pointed out all of the yellow and purple flowers and was so excited when he saw puddles which he referred to as ‘tiny water’. Just being outside for that hour and a half cleared my mind and helped me regain some perspective.
This is for the breaking the rules - viewpoint challenge. I liked that from this perspective, you could see the rust on the back of the backboard.
Thanks to everyone for their wonderful comments and favs on yesterday's shot. I do not do a lot of selective color, so I appreciate the positive feedback!
Love your perspective and color on this shot, but it't the dangling net that really captures my attention. For some reason, that net and the color of the sky give me a feeling of tension and expectation. Probably not what you intended, but that emotion is what makes this photo great to me.
