My husband has been working crazy hours over the last couple of weeks, so he took the day off today so that we could go down to the marina to see his parents' sailboat put in the water. We told our oldest son that it was Adventure Day and packed up the car. When we got close, we told him that we were going to find Bip's sailboat and the ocean. He was really excited and was cracking us up because he kept saying "Mommy can't find Bip's sailboat". Not quite sure how I misplaced an entire sailboat, but we went along with it! It was a wonderful family day just spending time by the water on a gorgeous spring day.
Notice how tiny the guys on the right look compared to the wheels. This was just a massive piece of machinery!
That's so cool! When I was growing up, My grandfather had a used Coast Guard boat that he used on Webster Lake (you know, Lake Chargogagog. etc) which is so big that you can run pontoon boats, and Coast Guard boats and etc. Anyway, he had this big rig set up for lifting it out of the water....it was massive. I don't know why I want to call it a hangar,
