@djepie I appreciate your feedback on my push last week. I didn't get a chance to retry your challenge then, but I figured I would give it a try again today. Please let me know your thoughts.
@egad This one indeed is lighter. Do you also do postprocessing in Lightroom or some tool?
In the following picture you can see there are no blacks and no whites in your photo. That means the photo is not as bright as you might wish. http://jaapmeijer.com/images/2012/gad.jpg
As I don't have you original photo, I just tried to improve to small 365-version. In the link above you can see how I did do some easy improvements in Lightroom and their effect. Full photo below: http://jaapmeijer.com/images/2012/gad2.jpg
To be sure, this is just meant as positive feedback, I hope you can use it. Enjoy!
Nice one. I thought we'd be seeing more of this old chestnut with the toothbrush challenge. I'm glad someone gave it a bash. I was thinking about it, but I couldn't be bothered to set up the shot. Well done.
Hi egad : ) You’ve been at this project for a while and you’ve got great photo’s, so finding something you haven’t done yet wasn’t easy. So, I am going to give you a challenge I haven’t tried myself yet but want to as it looks like fun and I hope you will enjoy it. My challenge for you is to create your own "Planet" photo using a Panorama shot - I'm hoping this link will help you with this: http://content.photojojo.com/tutorials/create-your-own-panorama-planets/ . Here is another link to a basic guideline on how to create one of these recommended by a friend who has advised this one is the most straight forward and easy to follow if you're using Photoshop: http://www.photoble.com/photoshop-tutorials/5-easy-steps-to-create-a-mini-panorama-planet-in-photoshop. Good luck, hope you enjoy the challenge and I look forward to seeing what you come up with.
