I love it enough that I'm going to fav it. I love what looks like SC but is probably naturally like this. The only thing I may have done myself (although I'm not suggesting this would improve the shot in any way!) would have been to soften the background a bit more. But that's a minor detail and doesn't influence my fav :o) xx
A great idea and well executed. A critique... none of technical value but if I had been your assistant I would have had an urge to move the far right tulip over to the left...
@aponi@michelleyoung@westcoastwallis@jodimuli I put the tulips there. I should have had my husband take a behind the scenes photo. We still have over a foot of snow but I just had the idea in my head that I wanted to plant the tulips in the snow so I was not to be deterred. Of course I didn't wear gloves and it was freezing. I kept falling in the snow. Even got stuck on my back once trying to get the best angle. I was happy with how the shot turned out so maybe it was all worth it?!
I stood outside in the combination of snow and freezing rain trying to get one of those macro snowflake shots. Total fail. I got a few that I can tell by squinting what was going on but they were all too fuzzy. I think the ground was too warm so they kept melting. Eventually I'll get that to work, but this weekend even the dog that normally sticks to me like a piece of velcro lost interest and went inside.
