Santa Cruz tonight and this wasn’t the 1/2 of it. Wish you could have been here to experience it! Will share better shots, working on the fly in a hotel with one eye open. Sweet dreams all.
Year 7 on this adventure! I’m especially appreciative of the community found here! I am inspired by everyone; learning from so many. Your shares make...
@fbailey@louannwarren@tstb13@agedrunner@swchappell@jamibann@koalagardens@leonbuys83@moviegal1@milaniet thank you! It was unbelievable. I was at one point running to get around the corner to get to the actual sun. I’ve rarely seen it that intensely beautiful. I’m thankful I was able to capture and share what I could. I’ll share more but it was unreal. All the specs in the water if you look closely, are surfers!Lots of surfers were out there till dark! Some with flashlights!
@mbrutus Wasn’t it insane though?! We do get fantastic sunsets in central cal but I was stunned at this in Santa Cruz! I loved SoCal but don’t recall that many dramatic sunsets once AQMD came to the rescue ;-)
@elatedpixie That is because we seldom get cloud filled skies. We probably get 300 days a year with clear blue skies. And 50 days a year with entirely gray skies. So that leaves only a dozen or so days a year with puffy blue clouds to dramatically decorate the skies at sunset.
