Nothing exciting to shoot today ~ Wasn't sure if I should crop it in or not - I liked that the camera picked up the water filled texture of the petals but I decided this was something I could live with.
Hope you are having a great week!
Thank you for your visits and wonderful comments - you keep me motivated! I sooo want to go to sleep but cannot do it, knowing I've not posted yet! 365 is like flossing ;-)
Year 7 on this adventure! I’m especially appreciative of the community found here! I am inspired by everyone; learning from so many. Your shares make...
Early morning here and I love to see your posts each day as I do my first browse. Pretty African Violet - unusual to see one in b&w. I like the details I can see.
This looks lovely in b&w! I get a bit anxious when I'm one day behind posting - which I am right now. But it's a good feeling because it keeps me shooting. When I hit the one year mark last December I didn't want to stop posting.
Wonderful flower, very nicely captured.
The petals with their small border remind me of those wooden curls which you get, when you sharpen a pencil. Don't know how you call it in English (mmh...maybe pencil shavings?)
@jernst1779 thank you. Yes! I completely agree! I too feel that way. As if there’s pressure to shoot and post but a good pressure! I’m so glad to know others feel this too.
@pamknowler thank you Pam. I enjoy ending my day and with yours. They help me unwind from the day. I’m glad you like the violet in BnW. I wanted the texture to stand out. I have several different violets and when I really look at the flowers, they’re always amazing to me. So small with so much going on. Hope you’re having a fabulous afternoon!
