Penny has a lovely bunch of poppies on her desk. I bought them at the flower farm behind Peddlar's on Monday morning, and had to wait while the farmer went out to cut them for me. More than half were still closed. Many have now opened, and what a beautiful show! I love that you can see the pollen on the stamens and the petal.
